We had a SAH grant from the Veterans Administration. Sam was willing to work with us and the VA from the very first phone call. He took a drawing on a piece of paper and turned it into a great, handicapped accessible farmhouse. He followed all of the VA requirements and made great suggestions. The best part was that NACS got this done in three months, which was very much needed. Amazing. The house looks great, well constructed and energy efficient. We originally met with Sam back in June to discuss the remodel. He came out to our house and listened as we explained what we wanted to do. He walked us through each phase of the job and provided suggestions along the way. He was very fast in working up an estimate. After getting a couple of more quotes, it was obvious that NACS was the team for us. Sam gave us an estimate of the time to do the job and he nailed it. All work was completed exactly as he estimated. Once the work started, Darby and the other guys were very professional and really felt like part of the family. I had plans drawn up to remodel my 50 year old ranch style home but because of old, poorly designed remodels, most builders were concerned and bid high out of fear over what they might find. Sam Motes and North Alabama Construction Specialists had the experience, knowledge and skills to price the job right and perform the work with the quality and ingenuity that exceeded my every expectation and gave me an up to date home with exceptional features beyond the foresight of the architect and still right on budget. Along the way I added 400 sqft, new HVAC, plumbing, electric, gas lines, removed/added walls including a walk in pantry, laundry room, coffee bar, master suite with walk through shower and large 7' soaker tub (ingenious utilization of space with design and function) and repurposed rooms updating every part of the inside of the house with at least new windows and paint. Next year I will build/remodel exterior spaces (outdoor kitchen, detached garage, patio) and feel so confident about their skills, quality and price, I plan to go straight to Sam and not waste time with other builders/architects.

I received a quote and advised NACS to proceed with the work . Sam made an appointment for the next week . The crew arrived on time as scheduled. The work was finished in two days where I expected 4 or 5 . The repair was expertly done with no issues . Repair of concrete and gutter drains from sewer line damage

We had our kitchen moved to the opposite side of the room and 2 walls removed to make a great room. We had our ceilings repaired from popcorn to smooth. We had carpet removed and laminate installed. We had a window removed and a sliding door installed as well as windows moved. Sam and his team moved and rebuilt our existing cabinets to fit a totally different space. We changed our counter tops and added a small bar. His carpenter refigured and constructed an amazing kitchen reusing our cabinets and adding to them to make a beautiful kitchen beyond our expectations. Our ceilings are beautiful and the space they made is a transformation. We love our new home thanks to Sam and his team.

North Alabama Construction Specialist, LLC is a contractor to call everytime for any project -- restore, repair, remodel. Apparently, there is nothing they can't do and do well... and, at very affordable prices. I have contracted with NACS, LLC, numerous times for a myriad of projects in the last couple of years. They are always prompt, courteous, and hard working going over and beyond what is expected. I have called on Sam and his crew several times to take care of the smallest of projects, they never let me down. They recently completed a total remodel job for me that was tremendous... the house sold in a weekend! The compliments from everybody who took a look-see just kept coming! Sam now has a complete build job on the drawing board for me for my personal home. I wouldn't even remotely think about allowing any other contractor and crew to tackle this project - - if Sam does the work, I know it will be top quality at a good price with no shortcuts or compromises in workmanship or materials.
